Task Representation Documentation

Ensure each process, task system, stack layer, etc. is planned and documented to ensure all technical features, sensor specs, etc. are in sync with planned objectives.

For regulators / policy makers 

1. Task representation provides a regulatory turn-point to ensure that ADM systems do what they say they are doing. Often times ML-based algorithmic may not adhere to planned objectives.

1. For technical standards authors 

   • Definition of goals

   • Certain application domains may involve ontology-based task representation (ie RTR, forthcoming), where internal logic modules work in a process driven logic orientation. 

   • In other application domains like, model training and/or sensor training, is it import 

   • Create documentation framework for self-reporting specific technical features.

   • Select management tools that enable more than one working group member to operationalize any single task

     • Task redundancy 

     • Operation resilience 

     • Robust management design specs to avoid mission creep in subsequent design cycles
